My love for working with individuals with disabilities started with my God Mother. I met her when I was six years old and she was in a wheel chair from Spina Bifda. She was born paralyzed from the waist down and had so many unique friends that she introduced me too. I didn’t realize it at the time but she was shaping my love and compassion for others that were different from me. Fast forward to adulthood!! I started my journey in ABA 2012 at Ball State University and started working for a small in home therapy agency. I graduated in 2014 and went on to work in the in-home, clinical and educational setting for years. Ranging from early childhood to adulthood. Over the years, I also developed a passion to help peers overcome some of the challenges in our profession. I want to provide mentorship, connection and learning to students, BCaBAs, RBTs and support other professionals/parents that could benefit from our science.
